A BRIEF BIO OF THE AUTHOR

SHARON DUNCAN

Sharon Duncan is a recognized linguistic scholar, former university instructor in Spanish and comparative literature, and language test developer who has turned to mystery
writing with a passion.

Sharon is a Who's Who in American Women Biographee, co-founder of Bienvenidos Los Ninos (a S. F. Bay area adoption support group), and a former C.A.S.A. volunteer.

An accomplished saltwater sailor, she divides her time between Washington State's San Juan Islands and a hideaway on the Gulf of Mexico.

THE LAVENDER BUTTERFLY MURDERS is her fourth Scotia MacKinnon mystery. Her earlier works, DEATH ON A CASUAL FRIDAY, DEEP BLUE FAREWELL, and THE DEAD WIVES SOCIETY, were greeted with critical acclaim and high rankings on the Independent Mystery Publisher's best-seller lists.
